Calamity Kate is one of the most striking Desperado V daughters ever foaled. Her dam is the exceptionally beautiful Maryk daughter Aspen Colorado. Katie's incomparable Polish dam line to *Iwonka III is perhaps the key to her quality. Katie shares this dam line with the legendary stallion *Bask.

Katie is a rare dappled bay. She has exceptionally large black eyes, small tippy ears, a long shapely neck, and unbelievable type. In additional to having beautiful foals, she has also proven her ability to produce successful performance horses. She is the dam of the 50-mile endurance race winning filly Evenstar Bint Solszar, currently racing in California and the western United States.
